SHOE PROJECT: Shirley Power is conducting a fundraiser to benefit St. Jude’s Children Research Hospital by collecting gently new or used shoes. The shoes will be sent to Haiti, Nicaragua, etc., but proceeds remain with St. Jude’s. Shirley may be reached for donations at shirleyjpower@hotmail.comor on her Facebook page.
PROGRAM: Harley Macklin introduced Jackie Ashcraft of Reno County Crime Stoppers as our guest speaker. Crime Stoppers encourages members of the community to assist law enforcement by overcoming their fear and apathy of personal involvement.
