TUIT REPORT

Careful Dan Powers we decided to sic Toni Powers on you.

PROGRAM:

Karen Graber and Lance Patterson from the Boys and Girls Club of Hutchinson presented a Power Point display on the activities and educational structure of the club.

Founded in 1990, the after school program includes 200 children on a daily basis and 300 during the summer. Approximately 10% of the annual budget is derived from membership dues, United Way, and the City of Hutchinson each with the remaining two thirds from contributions, grants and special events.

The program has eight members in a disability group, which is coordinated in conjunction with Hutchinson High School.

Professor of Power Point, Joel Cash, sat close, however his services were not required this week.

Big Hat Raffle: Stan Macgirvin passed out raffle tickets to AMBUC members. We are selling raffle tickets to one of three possible trips. The winner’s choices are: Las Vegas, NASCAR Texas 500 and Sedonia AZ spa package. Ticket donations are $2 for one (1) ticket or $5 for three (3) tickets. The drawing will be held January 30, 2004.

Ugly Tie Contest: Sheriff Brad Thompson will be reintroducing the Ugly Tie Contest on January 30, someone accused Jay Pitzer of wearing his ugly tie early. Judging by his reaction though, I do not think so.

FINES COLLECTED

Brad Thompson, Greg West and Jeff Frizzell were fined for missing/being late to the Board Meeting. Jay Pitzer was fined for letting Greg West hide behind him. Edward Jones was a sponsor of the basketball game, No mention of Ambucs. Jay Pitzer borrowed a penny for the fine, not sure if he was short that much or if that was all he thought the fine was worth. Cheryl served Bob Bush , Don Grossardt and Stan MacGivern coffee at the Board Meeting. They, in turn, offered Cheryls coffee services to the whole group for a dollar a cup. Darren Wicks started the meeting with a ten spot in his wallet. Brad Thompson got several fines from him. Not sure if Darren Wicks even had enough for a cup of coffee after they worked him over. Duke Wiggins was again fined for not recently being fined. Doug Foss had another Board member who was late to the meeting. He challenged Brad Thompson to name the board members not previously mentioned. Brad had to cough one up. Eric Steinle paid a dollar to find out why Vicki Fultz paid all of that money to see the plastic surgeon and all she had worked on was her knee.
