TUIT REPORT

Don Grossardt relinquished the Tuit after having it for the last two weeks. Steve Conard,

Jo Ann Williams and Cheryl Goodell all forgot to ask. Doug Foss did ask at the Highlands.

Don handed the Tuit to Greg West for the week.

PROGRAM:

Keith Schroeder introduced Terry Bruce, Freshman Senator from Hutchinson. Terry believes he can make more on an impact at the Senate level. Terry gave us updates on Education issues in Kansas. The Senate passed a 127 million education fund. Special attention to at risk students, bi-lingual and special education. Terry explained that politics involve learning the art of compromise. Terry discussed issues regarding healthcare costs, prescriptions for low income and creating a healthcare advisory board, military issues in Kansas, law and order bill passed regarding cracking down on meth production and Sunday liquor sales among other issues.

T-Shirts: Don Grossardt needs volunteers to do t-shirts for the run in Little River, memorial day weekend.

Bob Bush issued the following fines: Jeff Brewer, Tony Powers, Larry Sloan, Doc Powers, Bill Long – cut in line at food table. Scott Horton late fee and Leadership Reno County Graduate. Jeff Brewer daughter graduated from Sterling and is getting married in July Jeffs son, Brad has a new baby daughter, Bailey, making Jeff a Grandpa! Congratulations Jeff! Rick Mitchell and Greg West Suck up tax for letting Vicki cut in line. Jo Ann Williams fined for new haircut, new look for trip w/ Spanish Club to Costa Rica. All New Board Members were fined. Big Hatters fined for not picking new president yet.
