PROGRAM

The “real” sheriff, Randy Henderson, introduced Chuck Peterson as our guest speaker. Chuck is our resident diving aficionado, as in the deep blue sea.

Chuck presented a 24 minute video of his diving vacation in the Turks and Caicos Islands located approximately 250 miles south of Miami. Book the trip two years in advance, bring your own dive equipment, leave your shoes behind and live nothing but diving for a solid week. Granted, you need more than basic diving skills, but this is about a divers paradise with many varieties of marine life and a deep wall of nearly 7000 feet. A specially equipped 130 foot yacht for diving made life a breeze.

We appreciate Chuck sharing his undersea experiences with those of us who will not see more than a muddy Kansas lake bottom.

Club Announcements

BUSH FAMILY: President Bob Bush was absent from the meeting due to the recent passing of his brother. Remember to support Bob and the Bush family in your prayers at this time. Bob, we appreciate the support and contributions that you have made to the Hutchinson AMBUCS; and we look forward to your return.

AMBUCS GOLF SCRAMBLE: COTTONWOOD HILLS, July 6, 2007. Jeff Brewer announced that 35 golfers have registered to play. All 18 holes will be open for the tournament. Come play on a brand new course! $45.00 per person includes greens fees, cart and range balls. $5.00 gets you TWO mulligans! DONT FORGET to volunteer to provide prizes for the tournament and give them to Jeff Brewer. This is a great opportunity to bring a guest to experience AMBUCS.
