Special Guest
Rita Northup
AMBUCS District Governor 5D from Salina
Official Visit
TUIT
Steve Harmon had Doug Foss, Eric Steinle and Al Strecker fined for either they or their wives forgetting to ask about the TUITs well being.
Steve gave the revered relic to
Tony (one-bit) Powers.
FINES
Jim Kicklighter and Larry Sloan were our Sgt.s at arms.
Eric Steinle was fined for showing up at the usual time 7:05. Rick Mitchell, who attended this years Cancer Council auction with his wife, didnt buy anything or mention AMBUCS and was fined. Yours truly was fined for renewing a two-year commitment on the Citys Sales Tax Advisory board. After two years Im still not sure what it is we do but I enjoy spending the money.
Bob Bush won the primary election for City Councilman Northeast district and was fined. Remember Bob, after April, you pay per sign.
Ward Davis did remember to announce that he was with AMBUCS at this last Chamber breakfast, unfortunately he forgot his pin and was fined. Al Strecker was fined for turning down a game of golf so he could go work on his new house. Scott Potucek paid a member reinstatement tax, even though he was here two weeks ago whether Jim saw him or not.
And last, but not least, Chuck Peterson paid a happy to be breathing at his age tax.
What;
The District Governor didn’t get fined!?
What is this club coming to?
PROGRAM
Jeff Brewer brought our two manual T-shirt presses to train those new members who had not made T-shirts before or for those members who needed a refresher course in the proper techniques in making a quality printed T-shirt.
He also covered other tournament procedures for the two booths that we operate during the NJCAA Tournament. If you missed this meeting and will be working the booth be sure to ask either the booth manager or another member how to operate the presses.
Club Announcements
T-SHIRT WORKERS: If you have not yet signed up to work our 1st club fundraiser of the year call Eric Steinle at 662-3331 immediately.
T-SHIRT SPONSOR: We are still looking for a Championship Team T-Shirt Sponsor for the tournament somewhere from $300 to $500 to help with the cost of T-Shirts for the NJCAA Tournament Championship team. The sponsor will get their logo on the shirts, plus mention in the program if it is not too late for printing and hopefully a mention.
If you are interested in this sponsorship, or know someone or some business that is, contact Al Strecker (click here to e-mail) A.S.A.P.
Publicity Committee: We still need two more club members to step forward to be on the publicity committee, which includes writing our club newsletter for an eight-week term.
District Governor’s Announcement: Rita Northup our District Governor filled us in on some district happenings such as the Sport, Boat & Travel Show sponsored by the Salina AM club and Bid Appetit sponsored by the Noon Network club both of which were held last weekend in Salina.
Club E-Mail: If you need to send a message to all Hutch AMBUCS, simply address your e-mail to allhutchambucs@hutchambucs.org. This ia a special e-mail “forwarding account” with our website. When you enter the address shown, the e-mail goes through our web server, and is forwarded to each member from there. This is a safe way to have all e-mail addresses available to our members without exposing them to the general public.
