TUIT
Lee Gleason paid $2 to be rid of the TUIT after carrying it for two weeks.
Those fined for not asking were Bob Bush, Jim Seitnater, Darren Wicks, Nathan Meyer, Paul Brown and John Knipp. It goes to show just how many AMBUCS can be found at a Chamber Breakfast.
He gave the TUIT to Nathan Meyer.
FINES
Bob Bush with help from Stan Macgirvin filled in as Sgt.-at-arms.
Jim Seitnater was fined for being late. Eric Steinle was fined for being late (to next weeks meeting). John Knipp, Nathan Meyer, and Stan Macgirvin were fined for leaving early last week (although Stan took immunity). Randy Henderson announced and paid for leaving early, which was a stupid tax; hell be paying again next week.
Ward Davis was fined for calling Bobs cell phone during the announcements last week (it didnt work since Bob uses vibrate mode).
Paul Brown was fined for not mentioning AMBUCS at the Chamber breakfast along with Darren Wicks who followed Paul and was fined an extra $1 for ratting him out. Ward Davis was fined for not correcting the Chamber when he stood to represent AMBUCS as new members but the Chamber announced he was with Ward Davis Builders. Paul Brown was fined another $1 for ratting out Ward and another $1 for the incorrect Chamber announcement.
Pam Brooks who took up 2 parking spaces at breakfast was fined and an extra $1 for hating Bob.
Almost everyone else paid a $1 fine for getting breakfast ahead of the Sgt.s. (I suppose we should have found out who they were first).
PROGRAM
Brenda Janda introduced Nancy Sinclair with Hospice Care of Kansas. As a consultant Nancy helps to educate people about Hospice care.
Hospice Care of Kansas services can be paid for by either Medicare or Medicaid benefits. In Hutchinson there are 12 different hospices listed, with 6 having local offices. Hospices help to make the transition from life to death with dignity, comfort, and quality of life. They help reunited families during a difficult time also offering support and helping to meet basic needs.
Hospice Care of Kansas was started in 1999 in Wichita. They now have 13 offices located throughout Kansas and are the largest Hospice in the state. They have over 30 staff members locally, visiting clients either in their own homes, nursing or assisted living centers. They are the largest employer of non-denominational chaplains in the state.
Hospices usually care for a person with a terminal illness who has 6 months or less left to live. The current state average of those using hospice care is 1\3 use Hospice Care of Kansas, 1\3 use other hospices and 1\3 use none.
Jeff Brewer, it is now time to wake up.

Webmaster Assist Training: If anyone would like to learn HTML programming to help with posting information on our web-site contact Jack Mace as soon as possible as he will be offering training very soon. We desperately need one or two levels of backup for our web mastering and posting of newsletters. Right now, only one person Jack knows the account location, the account number and the password for our web site. Imagine what a serious accident can do to our use of the web.
