Fred Conner announced plans for Head Start saying that a few procedure changes are being made.

Randall Haltom reminded us that our annual Christmas Dinner is on the calendar for Wednesday evening December 17th, 6:00pm happy hour, dinner 6:30pm at The Town Club and the Hutch High Chorus will provide entertainment. $27 per person for an elegant and outstanding dinner. Doug Foss reported that the club is participating with other agencies in the purchase of a specialized helmet for a little girl. The helmet is designed to correct cranial issues. Five hundred dollars is the clubs commitment which was passed by the membership.

Harley Macklin reported on plans for the State of the City event to take place at the Stringer Fine Arts Building on January 21, 2015 with ceremonies beginning at 7:00 a.m. He is urging every Ambuc to plan to attend this event in order to increase more awareness of our club.

Todays Program, The Kansas Sampler presented by Marci Penner. The Sampler seeks to recognize rural culture throughout the state including art, interesting attractions festivals, customs, sustain small business, and bring attention to the eight wonders of Kansas. Established in1993 it is a non-profit foundation. They have an interesting and informative web site, www.kansassampler.org

Lucky Ace drawing, Scott Cooley drew a card and won $5. The pot increases to an unknown number that is greater than $42.

Newsletter drawing, Dane Power could have won $45 but he couldnt remember the answer. For the meeting of December 19th win $50 if your name is drawn and you can name the Director of the Kansas Sampler.
