TUIT REPORT
For the second week in a row, Eric Steinle and the TUIT were NOT here. Where-O-Where has
PROGRAM:
Jack Mace introduced John Birdeno, his brother-in-law and B-Western movie buff and collector. John was here to tell us that his now very extensive collection of B Western Movie memorabilia will be on display in early February at the Reno County Museum.
In conjunction with his display, the museum is also bringing Dick Jones, on February 12th, to Hutchinson as a fundraiser. Dick is the star of Buffalo Bill Jr., Range Rider and many other Western movies as well as the voice of Walt Disneys Pinocchio. There will be two shows that day at 2 and 7 PM with KFDIs singer-songwriter Johnny Western joining Dick for the latter show at the Justice Theater in HCCs Shears Technology Center. John showed us several early film clips of Dick doing trick riding and appearing with such film greats as Hop-along Cassody. John explained that Dick started his career at age 4 doing trick riding on a Shetland pony at Oklahoma rodeos before going to Hollywood.
February 26th: (Date correction from last week.) A workday and training session for the NJCAA Tournament T-shirt project will be held in the warehouse behind Central Printing from 9-11 AM. A signup sheet will be circulated next week. Everyone needs to work 2 shifts for this very important fundraiser..
