FINES: Troy Thode our Sergeant-at-Arms fined Paul Hardenburger for being late. Stan Macgirvin, Rod Calhoun and Colby Davis were fined for talking while the Sergeant was working. Those who had not yet signed up to work the ice cream booth were also fined. Jeff Brewer paid to announce their upcoming 45th wedding anniversary the 29th with Pat. Congratulations!!

PROGRAM: Harley Macklin introduced Debra Teufel, President & CEO Hutchinson /Reno County Chamber of Commerce and Chelsey Dawson, Communications/Events Coordinator for the Chamber. Debra began her duties at the Chamber on June 1st. She has been the Director of Public/Private Partnerships for the University of Oklahomas Price College of Business, Division of Entrepreneurship and Economic Development since the fall of 2015. Before that she was the Vice President of Business Development for the Wichita Economic Development Coalition/Wichita Metro Chamber of Commerce from 2008-2015. Prior to that she was the Director of the Cowley First Economic Development Partnership from 2006-2008, after having served as Project manager for the same organization from 1999-2004. From 2004-2005 she was Director of the Sumner County EDC and 2005-2006 with the Greater Wichita EDC. She was born and raised on a farm between Winfield and Arkansas City. She and her husband David have 4 daughters and they will all join her here in Hutchinson. The local Chamber has three divisions; Chamber Member Services managed by the staff, Tourism managed by the CVB and Market Hutchinson, Economic Development managed by Greater Hutch & Growth. There are approximately 750 Chamber member businesses with a 10% growth last year. There were 43 Chamber sponsored events held last year. They also promote the arena and fairgrounds for events throughout the entire year. Welcome to Hutchinson Debra!
