GUESTS: Steve Eck-HCC basketball coach, guest of Kathy Hanks. The following are guests of Doyle Ehling: Miss Rodeo Oklahoma, Calli Newman; Miss Rodeo Nebraska, Laramie Schlichtemeier; Miss Rodeo Colorado, Kelsie Winslow; Miss Rodeo North Dakota, Cassidy Rasmussen; Miss Rodeo Minnesota, Courtney Otto and Miss Rodeo Kansas, Hannah Neuenschwander. Also present were Ken Kerschner-Foto Cowboy and Dean the Driver.

SGT. REPORT: Big John made a brief appearance for the good of the club. Brad was fined for missing the Chamber breakfast and not standing. Troy was fined for not standing also. Darrin was fined for not knowing the name of the Nashville NHL team (and his tablemates were also fined).

2017-18 SLATE OF OFFICERS. Here are the candidates for club offices for 2017-18: President-Thad Bartley, 1st V.P.-Duke Wiggins, 2nd V.P. -Rod Calhoun, Treasurer-Don Grossardt, Secretary-Paul Brown, Board Member at Large-Brad Thompson. (Still need a Sgt. at Arms!). Elections will be announced at our meeting.

PROGRAM: Steve Eck-HCC basketball coach of the National Champion Blue Dragons was introduced by Kathy Hanks. Coach Eck taught and coached in Wichita, but spent half his life in Hutchinson. He wanted to retire here so he turned down the opportunity to coach HCC the first two times it was offered. Something about coaches not having a lot of job security. He has been the HCC coach for 8 years and now has the national title added to his resume.

MAY 26 PROGRAM: Will it be a duo of note like Heckel and Jeckel or Fric and Frac? No, its the Steve and Steve Show! Steve Harmon and Steve Conard will share more of the photographic history of Reno County from their collection!
