Ambucs Weekly Meeting for Friday December 2, 2016
Welcome todays guests and program presenters Victoria Miller and Dona Davis of the Sexual Assault and Domestic Violence Center.
Sergeant John Knipp roamed around the place recognizing members for doing good things for the club. Darrin Wicks and Brad Thompson were happy that they have birthdays and are talking and walking. Other Ambucs were supposedly guilty of other unknown issues and Sergeant John checked out.

Harley Macklin announced the annual STATE OF THE CITY event is January 18, 2017 at the Atrium Convention Center. Ward Davis is sponsoring the event.
Todays program was presented by the Sexual Assault Domestic Violence Center by Victoria Miller and Dona Davis. Funding for the program is from the State of Kansas. There is a number of ways that abuse takes place including verbal, physical, and sexual violence. Many of the incidents go unreported. Law enforcement and Services offer 24 hour crisis hotline and offer court advocates. Also new clothing is available for victims as they lose clothes for evidence. Protection orders are written by Judge McCarvel.
