Every week members support the club in ways that are not noticed. For example, does any one wonder who sets up the flag, hang the banners, bring out the toilet, place the gavel and bell, set the badges out, prepare the Lucky Ace pot, and the attendance sheet ? Well, you can thank Jeff Brewer, Stan, Doug, Dennis, Jay and others for their reliability.
Kathy Hanks introduced her guest and program David Buckley.
Also Jay Pitzer introduced guest Dave Dubovich Pastor of Park Place Christian Church.
Brewer and Cooley patrolled the place for the purpose of a fund raiser. Contributors were Dan for getting in line before anyone else, Colby was late, Dave was fined for being his quite self, Guy Gann had no pin, Randall, John Knipp, Terry Brigman, Dwight, and Colby? So it isn’t so.

David Buckley presented an interesting program on community gardens. His organization is named “Community Agricultural Site, or CAS for short. After seven years the garden has grown much larger. Many of the gardeners use their math skills in managing the Garden efficiently along with K-State research. The site is irrigated and maintains a composting system. There is a connection with the local schools and students learn about gardening. The garden has a slogan, “Making Earth Science and Math Fun.” You are welcome to visit the garden at 6 West 56th, near the intersection of Plum and Monroe. 620-200-7484 agsitecas@Me.com, or Google “community Agricultural Site.”
