SGT. REPORT: Sgt. Brad and Marvin were on patrol on Friday the 13th. Jeff R. paid his weekly presidential fine. Kathy H. paid for missing board meeting. The real sheriff warned the Sgts. about a possible warrant for a missing Big Hat. Apparently, Jay Pitzer IS missing a Big Hat. Duke was fined and probably does not know why. Thad paid for harassing Colby and for a business plug. A pin check was then imposed on the members.
ANNOUNCEMENTS:
AWARDS: Jay Pitzer received a spur and a star for bringing in a new member from President Jeff Roberson (now, if he only had a Big Hat to put them on).
AMTRYKE: The board approved the giving of an AMTRYKE, but had no details.
NJCAA Basketball Tournament: Darrin Wicks presented three possible logo examples for the consideration of the membership. Please reserve the tournament dates of March 16-21 on your calendar. Also, make a note of the NJCAA track meet on May 14-16.
FRONT DOOR: The Hutchinson Town Club will have access again through the front door for our meeting on the 20th.
PROGRAM: Sheriff Randy Henderson provided an update on the Reno County Correctional Facility being constructed at 1800 S. Severance. The 72, 000 square foot facility will hold 250 inmates and include programs for rehabilitation. New features include: separate work release area, central supervision for cell blocks, negative air cells and additional single cells.
