SGT. REPORT: Sgt. Brad and Asst. Marvin were once again fleecing the faithful. Dane paid his weekly fine for being President. Jay paid for being a birthday boy (59 if youre counting). Six members were supposed to pay for not paying for breakfast at the State of the City (we still cant figure out who they are). AMBUCS were fined for not working the Water casino night. Brad T. fined Jay, Doyle, Larry and Troy for not asking about the TUIT. Brad T. gave the TUIT to Doyle. Doyle responded by threatening to bury it (a great idea!). Doug was fined for repetitive whining.
CLUB ANNOUNCEMENTS:
State of the City Address: President Dane thanked Harley Macklin for spearheading this event for the club. The event lead to front page coverage for the club and had the support of the Chamber of Commerce. Our chapter was well represented by the members present.
Water Casino Night: Thank you to all members participating for this casino on January 23, 2014.
AMBUC Social: January 31, 2014, 5:30 P.M.-7:00 P.M. at 14 N. Main (Old Sandtree restaurant). Bring a guest and unwind from the weekly grind!
Old Fashioned Ice Cream Booth: Darren Wicks reported that the committee continues to study all options for the booth from tearing down the structure and building everything new to modifying the existing building. Paul H. will be assisting with drawings of possible solutions.
PROGRAM: A short video was shown of the AMTRYKES Veterans Initiative. The goal is include everybody, the disabled with the able-bodied.
50/50 WINNER: Brad Thompson was the winner of $5.00. The pot added another $18.00 to the Lucky Aces drawing. See last weeks newsletter for the total (Im busy here).
