Anyone who did not bring a spouse paid one dollar. Jay Pitzer who brought his wife Donna and then paid for spouse neglect. TUIT REPORT: Fred Conner confessed that he did not have the Tuit at the Midwest Ford Casino night and his prayers were answered as no one there asked him about the Tuit. However Doug, Dean, Terry, Stan, Dave, Guy, Randy, and Reta Joy neglected to show some care and concern about a stupid hunk of metal. In the spirit of Christmas Freddy gave the Tuit to new member Troy Thode. NO MEETING ON FRIDAY December 27th due to the Christmas Holidays. Next regular meeting Friday January 3, 2014. MERRY CHRISTMAS AMBUCS PARTY: It was a lovely evening on Tuesday December 17th at the Town Club, with delicious meal options and the girls varsity chorus group Harmonics from Hutchinson High School singing Christmas corals. Thanks to Randall Haltom for his organizational skills. HARLEY MACKLIN announced The State of City Address event will take place on Thursday January 23rd at the Stringer Fine Art Center. Breakfast will be served beginning at 6:45 a.m. DRAWINGS: The Lucky Aces Pot was won by Steve Conard and he got $5. The winner each week will draw a card from a deck of cards. There is now $97 in the pot.Rules of the Lucky Aces Pot – the Joker gets nothing, any card besides the Ace of Spades get $5. Ace of Spades wins the Lucky Aces pot according to what has accumulated in it. Harley Macklin could have won the Newsletter pot, but he didnt know the answer. For $75 the Newsletter question for the meeting on January 3, 2014 what is the name of the singing group who sang carols at the Merry Christmas Party?CASINO EVENTS: Jay Pitzer is making the appeal for all dealers to be on hand for the Longfellow Foundation for Thursday evening/night December 26th. Loading the equipment will occur at 6:30 p.m. at the warehouse, games begin at 7:00 p.m. at the Ramada. TODAYS PROGRAM: Craig Williams introduced Lincoln impressionist, Patrick McCreary. McCreary is in his 25th year of taking on the persona of President Abraham Lincoln. He talked about Lincoln when as president Lincoln was often ridiculed in the press with outrageous cartoons. While speaking to any audience Lincoln would assess his audience in order to speak to them directly with their concerns in mind. Lincoln essentially educated himself and applied his knowledge of human nature to find solutions and apply them to the nation.
