PROGRAM:
Program Manager Jeff Roberson introduced todays program presenter, his brother, Ron Roberson. Mr.Roberson discussed his career which has involved various religious denominations including Catholicism, Methodism, Eastern Orthodox, Islam, Christian Coptics, and others. In working with all these varieties of faith and worship his work is to find some common ground to increase cooperation and understanding that would bring acceptance and consensus of world wide religions. His program included historical information that has shaped todays religions, and the conflicts that cause division in society. In seeking resolutions of the conflicts, key religious leaders meet in conferences to find common ground they can agree on as a starting point. Such an issue would be poverty and how to deal with it. Robersons program contained many more insights on religion in todays world, and this is just brief summery of all that he talked about.
