MEETING: Friday, December 7, 2012 EDITOR: Tom Hymer

WELCOME GUESTS: Jay Pitzer introduced his spouse Donna. Andrew Parr made his second visit to our club, hopefully he is considering becoming a member. Guest Marcia Fletcher of Dollar Sense.

WELCOME HEAD START GUESTS: Cindy Baker, Mary Stafford, Alicia Ellis, and Gidget Watson. These gals work with kids to help them achieve learning skills in a stable setting.

CONGRATULATIONS: President Darren announced that yesterday December 6th is the 32nd Anniversary for the Hutchinson Ambucs. The charter members identified are Terry Brigman, Dean Brigman, Fred Conner, and Vern Powers.

ANNOUNCEMENT: President Darren reminded the board members that a meeting is scheduled for next week Friday December 14TH at 6:15AM.

VISIT THE SICK: Remember Doc Powers as he recuperates at Wesley Towers Thorne Care room 401. Docs condition is improving, and he and Aavon are making arrangements for them to move into an apartment at the Towers. They would love to have some visitors, as they had no children, but they have some other relatives.

HEAD START CHRISTMAS BOXES: About 300 Christmas Boxes were assembled today for Head Start kids THANKS to Fred Conner who led the project, to the four gals from Head Start who pitched in with their help, to Donna Pitzer for getting great discounts on the items that went into each box, to Dollar Sense for providing crayons and coloring books, to the ladies who knitted the caps, to Trinity United Methodist Church for the assembly room, and last but not least the forty or so Ambucs who showed up to help.

CASINO NIGHT: Jay Pitzer reminded everyone about the Casino night that we are hosting for CHS foods on December 7TH at the Ramada Convention Center. More dealers are needed so send Jay an email jay.pitzer@edwardjones.com or call him at (620) 728-1141, or just show up. Be part of the crew that will meet at 7:00PM at the One Hour Plumbing warehouse. Be at the Ramada at 7:30PM to start dealing. Black pants, a white shirt, and really show some class with a tie.

50/50 DRAWING: Ron Quick won the 50/50 pot of $26 and donated the money to Head Start.

NEWSLETTER DRAWING: There was no drawing for the Newsletter question today. The Newsletter question for the next week how many boxes were assembled for Head Start? $10 for the right answer.
