John Knipp fined for no badge since he took the express lane for coffee. Don Grossardt would have been fined, but since he had left, Don Rogers was fined for having the same first name. Tom Hymer was fined for wining the 50/50 pot even though he was nice enough to donate it to Avenue A School. Tim Davies, Ron Quick and Vern Powers (what did he say) fined for being at the only table not fined. All the members present that had NOT signed up to work the Tournament were fined. Ill be nice and not name names here since they hopefully did sign up to work. The Sgts continued their torture with useless Trivia and the ultimate, a pin check.

PROGRAM Mark Treaster introduced Craig Williams since Scott Potucek was unable to be here. Craigs day job is Principal of Prairie Hills Middle School for the past 32 years. But Craigs second passion besides teaching students and overseeing school operations is Director of the Family Childrens Theatre. Craig has been involved with the Theatre since its inception as an actor in their very first production. The Theatre was started 23 years ago by Patrick McCreary in 1988. Their next show is The Robe, April 19-22, about the Centurion soldier who wins Christs robe in a lottery and his life afterwards. The last production of their 23rd season will be Seven Brides for Seven Brothers, June 7-10. The story is about a backwoods man, his new bride, and her quest to marry off his 6 ill-behaved brothers. They offer four showings of each show with three nightly and one Sunday afternoon. This year the theatre operated with 550 volunteers and a budget of $92,000. Seven of their shows are held in their theatre, which is the former Flag Theater built in 1936, with their major musical show performed at Memorial Hall. This July they will be changing their name to the Family Community Theatre. You can find a listing of their upcoming 24th Season of 8 shows on their website familychildrenstheatre.com.
