FINES: Sergeants-At-Arms, Guy Gann and Larry Sloan were weak this week. Ok with the members however. Some of the fines, but probably not all were: Late: Dwight, Scott and Randy H. Finally, Bob Bush was fined, not sure what for .:) Larrys trivia was met with yawns.
AMBUC OF THE DAY: Tony Powers: born in western Ks..Married to Valerie has four children. Owns an Optometrist business in Hutchinson. TUIT: Jim Jacobs informed everyone that the TUIT is lost, but will be found.
ANNOUNCEMENTS: J Pitzer thanked those who helped with the casino night for Holy Cross Catholic Schools annual fund raiser. R. Henderson thanked everyone for their prayers for Deputy Mitch Harris and let us know, that Mitch is making progress and attending Wesley Rehab. Dean Brigman asked for our prayers,his wife is having major surgery.
PRESENTATION: Amtryke was presented by Doug to Scott Schultz. Scott was beaming from ear to ear and showed very good driving skills in his initial trip on the tryke. It is always a great experience to see these kids receive their trykes!
REMINDER: Invite guests for our meetings in October and November as it is Fall Branding Time!!
PROGRAM: Bob Busch and John Deirdoff, City Mgr.. Denmark visit to Siemens. Bob and John talked in detail about the Siemens company culture and what an aggressive company they are in terms of future growth and competitiveness. They are the number two wind company in the world. Bob emphasized the importance of building relationships with a company like this and their suppliers. Potentially some suppliers might come to Hutchinson if we as a city, are aggressive about the relationships. John talked about the incredible technology and that this company has a very broad scope of diversity of products they produce.
