GUESTS: Brent Brigman, guest and son of Dean Brigman. Sandy Woodson and Sarah Blake of Youth Leadership Reno County, guests of the club.

FINES: The Big Hatters were in charge of the meeting so Brad TUITs Daddy Thompson was Sgt. at Arms and his Assistant was Stan Marvin Macgirvin. Ward D. was fined for having his money out and

leaving a concrete brace at Als house. Jerry R. was fined for putting his pin on. Dean B. was fined for excessive crude oil prices. Terry B. was fined for arguing with the Sgts. Mark T. was fined for interrupting the Sgts., then Doc, Bill L. and Tony P. were fined for sitting with him. Guy was fined for no Big Hat and no name tag. Yours truly was fined for being the only past President without a Big Hat (an outrageous lie!). Pam was fined for extra money on the table. Darrin W. was fined for the stock market being down. Gene H. was fined for being squeaky clean. Steve C. had to buy the key to his own warehouse. Everybody else had to pay for not having a Big Hat, if they had not already been fined.

TUIT REPORT: Don Grossardt fined Al S., Curtis M. and Eric S. for not asking about the TUIT in their e-mails to him. Preston did ask twice. Donny G. passed the TUIT to new member, Jerry Regier.

PROGRAM: Sandy Woodson and Sarah Blake were our guest speakers on the topic of Youth Leadership Reno County. The program is modeled after the adult program, Leadership Reno County.

Seventh and Eighth graders from six school districts and Trinity are trained in leadership skills and prevention during six scheduled sessions. Some of the themes for the sessions included: social services and education, agriculture, drug and alcohol awareness and prevention, city-county government day and communication skills.

CLUB ANNOUNCEMENTS:

INSTALLATION BANQUET: Expect a report at the next breakfast on the installation of the new officers.

PROGRAM COMMITTEE MEETING: June 6, 2008 at 6:30 A.M. Hutchinson Town Club.

CASINO NIGHT FUNDRAISER, June 21, 2008, 7:00-11:00 P.M., HUTCHINSON TOWN CLUB.

We are still in need of another 5 people to help with this project. Please contact Jay Pitzer to volunteer.

The Reno County Young Professionals will be a fun group to entertain.
