Program:

Bob Bush introduced Darrell Pankratz of Pankratz Implement Co. and Todd Stephenson, business manager of U.S.D. 313, who spoke in support of the Buhler School District Bond Issue Election on June 6, 2006.

The $37 million in general obligation bonds would be used to expand and upgrade facilities district-wide. Outdated buildings with inefficient heating, cooling, plumbing and electrical systems would be addressed. Additional classroom space would be provided for full-day kindergarten, early childhood education, science rooms and expanding numbers of students within the district. Technology improvements will include laptop computers at Prairie Hills Middle School and Buhler High School for all students. 22% of the project and interest costs of the bonds would be paid by the State of Kansas. Please contact Darrell or Todd with your questions.
