TUIT Report:
Greg West has LOST the TUIT. This is a somber situation , the TUIT is invaluable to the club. So to try to redeem himself Greg passed the TUIT on to the original creator of the TUIT Brad Thompson. Maybe Brad can recreate the original or maybe Gregg will find the TUIT yet.
Fines
Tom fined all the members of the RED team for being behind in the membership contest. He even fined himself for being on that team. Pin check also generated some additional revenue for the toilet.
Stan short circuited the politically correct Santa, you would have had to been there to understand.
Announcements:
Jeff Brewer reported we are up to 60 people up for the Christmas party on the 16th at the Highlands. Cocktail hour starts at 6 with dinner served at 6:30 and the dance at 8
Jay Pitzer announced that we are hosting a casino nite for ALCO at the cosmosphere tomorrow nite. If you can help be there at 7PM.
Business: JoAnn presented the first reading on doing a sponsorship of a demo site in Emporia, this would be jointly sponsored by the Salina Club
New Member: Bill Rodgers was welcomed to the club and given the oath as a new member. Welcome Bill.
Program: Keith Schroeder introduced Sharon Robinson Stokes director of Vision of Hope. Sharon gave a presentation on the Vision of Hope program and the work they do in the community. She explained their new program Each one Reach one and discussed the role of CASA volunteers in their program. The program will be having an open house next Tuesday. Thanks Sharon.
Next meeting Dec 16th Filling of the Chirstmas sacks for the Head Start Program. Be sure to be there to help.
Upcoming Meeting. We will not meet on the 23rd. But will have an interesting program on the 30th by one of our own. Dan Powers will give a presentation on his recent trip to Alaska THERE ARE BEARS in THOOSE WOODS
