TUIT REPORT
The TUIT is away vacationing in much cooler Colorado Springs with our illustrious President Vicki Fultz who is attending our National Convention.
PROGRAM:
Lori Hopp concluded our primary election coverage this week with several more candidates in attendance and continuing with the same format of a 2-minute presentation about themselves. Lori introduced Larry Sharp (R), County Commissioner District 3 running for re-election after 7 years in office.
Lori also introduced candidates for Magistrate Judge: Joe Gimar (R), and Cheryl Allen (D). Joe has been in several positions with the Hutchinson Police Department the past 26 years and is retiring this year. Cheryl is an attorney with Legal Services for Prisoners at the Hutchinson Correctional Facility. Dennis Keesling (R) candidate for Magistrate Judge and Jennifer Ginest (R) candidate for County Commissioner District 2 were unable to attend either of our meetings. Remember to exercise your right to vote next Tuesday, August 3rd.
Club Announcements
July 30: July 30th meeting will be held at TECH.
Directions: 4th Street East of K-61 to Halstead St.; right/south to Sherman St.; left onto Sherman, go east to Kirby St.; right onto Kirby. Our plant is on the east side of Kirby. Parking is available in the front/west side, or to the north, either is fine, with the exception of the handicapped parking, unless of course, you have a need to park in handicapped parking. Enter the building on the far south side, ramp to the door to our breakroom area.

FINES COLLECTED
Sgt. at Arms Bob Bush was back and with assistance from Pat Fallon, collected this weeks fines. Jeff Frizzell was fined for not upholding Jay Pitzers amnesty last week that Bob had given Jay and Jay was fined a stupid tax for letting Jeff fine him. Jessica Sadowsky was fined for dumping I mean delegating the golf tournament over to Jeff Frizzell since this was her last week with us. Jessica is moving to Washington DC to be a Health policy advisor for Rep. Jerry Moran. Bob was nicer than I would have been. We will all miss you and wish you the very best! Paul Brown was fined for a guilt by association tax for a large obnoxious yellow & black sign atop a certain SUV in the parking lot and does he support him?? Paul paid the fine and didnt answer the question. We wouldnt get away with that in court. Denise Wiard fined for not sitting at Bobs table in the past. Paul piped up and said she has standards and was fined another dollar. Amy Craig fined for sitting with Keith Schroeder each week since Bob broke up her and Lori Hopp. Amy, that might help you in court but it wont help you here! Amy also called Bob a liar for some rhetorical remark and was promptly fined two dollars more. When will you people learn! Tom Hymer for receiving a cell phone call during the meeting July 9th. Paul Brown and Darren Wicks for not keeping up as Chamber Ambassadors with new business opening and inviting them to be chamber members. Jason Jones late. Randy Henderson charged for arriving later than his guest and being known by other members which is keeping them from participating on jury duty. Keith Schroeder a guilt by association tax for the same thing. And last but not least, all members except Pat Fallon and Stan Macgirvin for having bought advertising and Dennis Reiser for already attending the Pretty Prairie Rodeo: all others were fined for not supporting said event. Vern Powers bought a fine by having Duke Wiggins and Jason Jones stand up and lead the rest of the group in wishing Vern a Happy 80th Birthday along with 57 years of marriage. Congratulations Vern! Bob refunded his dollar.
