TUIT REPORT

Jack Mace had the Sgt.s fine Jim Remar, Larry Sloan and Lori Hopp for failing to inquire about the TUITs well being.

Actually he felt sorry for Lori since she was having a bad week and paid her fine. Jack wanted the TUIT to take a well-deserved summer vacation to a cooler climate so he sent it along with Vicki Fultz who is traveling to our National Convention in Colorado Springs this next week.

PROGRAM:

Lori Hopp continued our primary election coverage again this week with many candidates on hand to give a brief, and I do mean brief, 2-minute presentation about themselves. Lori introduced candidates Pinky Roberts (R) for County Commissioner District 2 and Manuel Bruch (R) for County Commissioner District 3 and Francis Schoepf (R), County Commissioner District 2 running for re-election. Lori also introduced candidate for Register of Deeds Julie Newton (R) and Carol Sallee (R), Register of Deeds running for re-election. Also introduced were candidates for Magistrate Judge, Bill Stueckemann (R), Randy McEwen (D), Joe McCarville (R), Karen Lyons (R) and Brenda Kretzer-Kowitz (R). Sorry, but space does not permit listing their qualifications but it has been great having each of them to visit us so that we could get to know each one a bit better. Vote Aug. 3rd.

FINES COLLECTED

Deputized Sgt. at Arms Jeff Frizzell and Brad Thompson, filing in for Bob Bush, collected this weeks fines. Jay Pitzer for harassing the kitchen help and snacking in the kitchen prior to our meeting. Rod Fry who didnt show at the ice cream booth to work Monday night. Jeff Brewer for suggesting a new ice cream flavor certain death (beats me??). Jessica Sadowsky (this was really good) for not remembering her code to get into her rented storage space in the gated facility consequently couldnt get out either until a friend who was there to use the facility let her out. Larry Sloan for a vulgar display of legs for the 2nd week in a row. Jim Kicklighter for going on a sailing regatta and NOT taking us along. Jack Mace for hurting his knee playing disk golf (full contact). Vicki Fultz for taking up 2 spaces for her small (but very expensive) red sports car. Duke Wiggins for NOT remembering what he had ratted on Vicki for. Jo Ann Williams who was late to the board meeting. Tony Powers for taking empty (we think) wine boxes home (inquiring minds want to know a private still maybe, sunflower wine?) Whatever it is he paid a whole Dollar. Scott Horton sporting a new beard (his lady schick broke) and wearing a no-collar dress-shirt (we think there must also have been an Amish buggy parked outside). Last but not least, all members wearing tennis shoes, in honor of our President Vicki, were fined. I see that both Sgt.s have attended the how to increase the revenue seminars.

Bob Norris bought a fine and announced that the Buhler Sunshine Home is selling a punch card for $10 which entitles the user to 1 additional dozen Krispy Kreme doughnuts for each dozen purchased for a total of 10 additional dozen.
