GUESTS: Bob Bush-Reno County Commissioner, City Beverage and former
member, guest of Harley Macklin.

SGT. REPORT: Sgt. Troy and Deputy Dwight fined President Brewer for
carrying a doll in Wal-Mart; he had a story, but it was only a story! Darren W. was fined for missing the Board meeting (he claimed Paul H. was supposed to pick him up). Kindra was fined for her billboard at 4 th & Halstead with no mention of AMBUCS. This editor was fined for the error of last week’s editor calling Deputy Dwight, Rich Shelton.

PRESIDENT’S REPORT: The Board approved an AMTRYKE for Jedidiah
Wheeler. An AMTRYKE was delivered to Meredith Soukup in Lyndon, KS. The
club was reminded that the Great Plains Regional Convention is scheduled for
April 5-7, 2018 in Tulsa, OK. The club will hold a discussion on February 23,
2018 regarding a possible change for club meeting dates and times. Lastly,
President Brewer was joined by First Vice-President Rod Calhoun to promote
recruitment for officers for the 2018-19 AMBUC year.
PROGRAM: Harley Macklin introduced Bob Bush, Reno County Commissioner,
as our guest speaker. Bob has been both a Hutchinson councilmember and a county commissioner. He readily admits that the commissioner position is harder and a greater time commitment. Reno County has 600 miles of blacktop and 1100 bridges. The county operates a health department; and Bob serves as head of a Fire District Board. These functions keep Bob busy on behalf of Reno County residents.

LUCKY ACES DRAWING: Darren W. drew the Jack of Hearts-$5.00. The pot
is now over $600.00! Another good reason to come to breakfast!

NEWSLETTER DRAWING: Kal Singh was not present.

NEWSLETTER QUESTION: What are the dates of the Regional Convention?
