PROGRAM: Kathy Hanks introduced State Representative of the 102nd District Jason Probst. Jason was elected to finish the term of Rep. Patsy Terrell who was found dead in a Topeka hotel room of natural causes on June 7th. Jason had to resign his position of Opinion Editor of the Hutchinson News upon accepting the new job. He also switched from the Republican Party earlier that same month. Jason has lived and raised a family in the district for 21 years and is no stranger to politics or local issues having worked for the news. He was not a fan of the states bail out bond of $4.9 billion which we will pay $530 million a year in interest. He was sad that he missed new representative orientation and had to feel his way around the state house his first year. Jason answered many questions and announced that he plans to run for a full Representative term in the fall election. You can reach Jason through his website or his Facebook page.
