FINES: Troy Thode was our Sergeant-At-Arms. John Knipp was late but helped collect fines instead of paying. Pat Fallon was fined for taking two parking places with his truck.

Everyone who did not have an Invite a Guest to Breakfast card paid a dollar fine.

Randall Haltom announced our club Christmas Social will be held Thursday, December 21, Crazy Horse Club at the Highlands. More information soon.

Harley Macklin announced the State of the City Address will be held Wednesday, January 17, at the Atrium Hotel with Ward Davis Builders as sponsor.

PROGRAM: Kathy Hanks introduced Tony Finlay, Executive Director of HUTCHrec. Tony explained their goal is to improve the health of individuals in the community which will in turn improve the health of the family and also that of the neighborhoods and the community. Their new slogan Healthy Living Community Spirit continues that theme. Elmdale Park is now a full Senior Center including the Wellness Room and lunch provided 3 days a week to about 100 seniors. Their other facilities include the downtown office, Dillon Nature Center, Fun Valley Sports Complex, Hobart-Detter Field and Salt City Splash Aquatic Center. The Sports Arena is jointly operated with HCC. The public is to use the new North Door for access to the Arena for walking or basketball and signup for building schedule updates or check their Facebook page. Currently adult fitness classes are held at a variety of buildings throughout the city instead of a designated gym.

Recreation & Sports is now their largest division with the addition of the newly remodeled Sports Arena. The additional gyms have really helped the youth basketball program allowing better scheduling of games. They are searching for a new director for the Dillon Nature Center with the recent announcement of Mary Clarks retirement. Eight large community events are now provided annually with two new events for 2018 that can not be announced yet. Tony provided fall activity guides, Senior Life program brochures (whats he trying to tell us) and a calendar of coming events.

Lucky Ace Drawing: Don Grossardt drew the Six of Clubs for $5. The pot is $419.
