Program: Terry Bisbee’s 10 seconds of fame

Most of us in attendance this Friday learned something about quite surprising about one of our own members. In 1955, the motion picture Picnic was made in central Kansas, bringing major Hollywood stars to our community. Thanks to his father, Terry, only seven at the time, got a part in the show, along with his mother and little brother. He showed usan amazing collection of photographs, newspaper clippings, and other collectibles, and shared his memories of one the most exciting times of his life. Thanks to Terry for sharing his 10 seconds of famewith us.

Drawings:

Lucky Aces drawing earned Rod Calhoun $5. Next Friday’s total is known only by Don G.Newsletter drawing would have gone to Curtis Mitchell, who was not in attendance. Because of the tardiness of this newsletter, there is no question for this Friday.
