Guests: Cindy Frederick Volunteer Agency/RSVP & speaker for the day
Jeff Brewers better half she had to drive herself
I think there was one other but did not write down the name.
Sergeants Corner:Of course we started with the standard Presidential fine. (Wonder if we can do that on a federal level?) Jeff was fined for making his wife drive herself. Duke got it and Harry was late with no badge. Doug, I think, couldnt find his badge so coughed up a fine. Eric was on time for once and Jeff seemed to be pushing for him. Colby helped fine his father who wanted to feed him biscuits to keep off of the radar. Harley wasnt fined much though he tried to cut off two of his fingers in a table saw. One table was feeling neglected so both gentlemen at that table were fined in order to feel special. Dan Power bought a fine because his twin would be celebrating a birthday (Dane hes a twin?). There were a few other fines but I missed the names. Brad will be on a motorcycle ride for a while so Colby will be in charge of fines for the next two weeks (look out Ward).
Announcements: Dan Power informed me that the Hutchinson Chamber of Commerce Ribbon Cutting, for the Sweet Shoppe, will be Wednesday, September 3 at 4:30pm. Fred mentioned that almost everyone, whom was at breakfast, was signed up for their shifts at the Fair. However, there were still many slots available which need to be filled yet. Paul mentioned we were in week 10 of the project and that this weekend we would almost be finished. He mentioned we have the ice cream ordered, he thanked Curtis for the concrete, and mentioned the building was now closed during off hours so we cannot just show up and hope to get in to work. Dennis wanted to know about eating at the Fair and I think someone mentioned eating at Ye Olde Mill, the Pride of Kansas Building or Grannies at the Meadowlark Building. Jay asked if we wanted to use an old fashioned style paper hat for our uniform. Others mentioned they would prefer to stay with the ball caps.
