FINES: Brad Thompson and Jeff Brewer levied our morning fines as our Sergeants-At-Arms. Tony Powers, Dean Brigman, Guy Gann and this editor were fined for not wearing our Big Hat. Darren Wicks, Paul Brown, Randall Haltom, Tom Hymer and Dane Power were fined for not being Big Hat members. Guy Gann was also fined for no name-badge or pin. Paul Hardenburger was fined for being late. He then asked What is a Big Hat? which prompted Jay Pitzer to be fined for not properly instructing a new member. Brenda Janda paid a membership renewal fine for missing a few meetings. Dwight Wiehl, Mark Treaster, Harley Macklin, Victor Curtis, Ward Davis and Jeff Roberson paid fines for being in the Sergeants line-of-fire.
ROUND-TUIT: Doyle Ehling paid to be rid of the iron maiden and passed it on to Randall Haltom. Jay Pitzer and Dennis Reiser paid for not asking about it.

PROGRAM: Jeff Reiser introduced Ken Baker, General Manager of Radio Kansas. Ken has been with Radio Kansas since 1982. They are located inside Davis Hall at 9th & Walnut. Radio Kansas began as KHCC-FM 90.1 a 100,000 watt FM station in 1979. It is a not-for-profit Public Radio Service broadcaster and is owned by Hutchinson Community College. They serve Hutchinson, Newton, McPherson and Wichita. In 1988 KHCD-FM 89.5 was added serving Salina & Manhattan. In 1972 KHCT-FM 90.9 was added serving Great Bend & Hayes. Radio Kansas provides Classical music, New Instrumental music, News from National Public Radio, A Prairie Home Companion, Classical from Around the World, All Things Considered and Nightcrossings. In 2006 Radio Kansas was one of the first stations to adopt HD Radio. Using the HD technology they added 2 stations locally, a Jazz music station and The Breeze instrumental music.
