GUESTS: Callie White, HCC student heading to K-State for a degree in Speech Therapy, a guest of Jay Pitzer. Reg Jones, Director of Public Works for the City of Hutchinson, our guest speaker. Colby Davis, Wards son.

FINES: Brad Thompson and Stan Macgirvin wielded the toilet as our Sergeants-At-Arms this morning. Dane Power paid the customary Presidential pardon tax. Jeff Roberson received a cell call during the board meeting, a fineable offense. Rick Mitchell, Bob Bush, Paul Hardenburger and Andrew Parr were fined a membership renewal tax since they had missed a few meetings. Randall Haltom forgot to send the checks to Don from the Christmas Party another fineable offense. Guy Gann fined for no name-badge. Dane Power fined for not knowing who is in charge of the name-badges (thanks for having my back Dane). Tom Hymer was fined a hat-on-in-meeting tax (I think it was a Big Hat cap). Randall Haltom (again) for poor vehicle backing at the fair (there should be a statue of limitations after a period of time). They followed up with an AMBUCS pin tax. Needless to say the pot runeth over.

ROUND-TUIT: After some prodding Dorinda Simmons decided to give up the TUIT to the one person that shouldnt have it Brad Thompson.

PROGRAM: Dean Brigman introduced Reg Jones, Director of Public Works. The Public Works department is the backbone of the city as they take care of the cities infrastructure and provide the services that are fundamental to the quality of life that we enjoy. The Public Works Department is comprised of 91 employees in 7 departments; Administration, Public Works Maintenance & Flood Control, Central Garage and Fleet Maintenance, Streets, Water Production and Treatment, Reverse Osmosis Water Treatment Center, Water Maintenance, Sewer Maintenance, Wastewater Treatment Facility and Trash Collection & Recycling. Some of these are comprised into one department. There is not enough space here to list the duties of each department. 50/50 Drawing: Paul Brown drew a card for Doyle Ehling who had already left and won him $5. The pot increases to $139.
