Guests: Doug Wyckoff with Hutchinson Care Center, a guest of Tim Davies and John Dreasher, Colby Davis, son of Ward Davis and Marcy Kauffman with Training and Evaluation Center of Hutchinson, our guest speaker.
Fines: Sergeants-At-Arms Larry Sloan and Scott Potucek wielded the toilet for this weeks fines. Reta Joy Campbell and Ward Davis fined for arriving late. Preston Clark honored for a missed 39th (again) birthday on July 15th. Tim Davies fined for arriving after his guest, then his guest ratted him out for a second fine and last but not least not forgetting to take his guest through the breakfast line first $3 total. Dave Suhler announced his 30th wedding anniversary on July 26 to wife Margo. Tim Davies cell phone rang that makes $4. Sometimes, you dont have to venture far for fine material!
AMBUC of the Day: A member since 1998 (he thinks), joined after a memorable AmTryke presentation, married to Jill, works for Morton Salt 37+ years currently purchasing agent, one of three members in our club to have been District Governor and also a Big Hat member.
TUIT: Our condolences to Di Saunders whose nephew in Kansas City passed away so no TUIT.
Program: Dan Power, longtime T.E.C.H. board member introduced Marcy Kauffman, Marketing Director with T.E.C.H. Marcy was here to tell us about their upcoming 2nd Annual Downtown Hutch Uncorked for TECH Friday, August 27th from 6 to 9 PM. This is another of their annual fund raisers that was a spin-off of the Main Street Hops. Uncorked is a wine sampling event with both red and white wines and hors doeuvres provided at each of 10 participating downtown businesses. Tickets are on sale now for $40 for a sampling ticket or a non-sampling ticket for $15 and cease after 350 sampling tickets are sold. There is also a special 5 course Winemakers Dinner held in conjunction with the event on Thursday evening at Jillians Grill for $100 each. Todd Izzo from Constellation Wines will provide sampling of wines from Raffino Italian Vineyards. Raffino has been producing fine wines since 1877.

Newsletter Drawing: Jim Kicklighter was not here so the purse increases to $20. Since we did not hear the answer to the question well use the same question: When was the first edition of The Hutchinson News printed and in what location?
