Program
:
Dan Power introduced Wyndi Busick, Director of Sales & Member Services for the Greater Hutchinson Chamber of Commerce. She has served in Sales and Marketing positions with various hotel and convention companies Hyatt, Marriott, The Grand Prairie and Helms-Briscoe before returning to Hutchinson. The number one job of the Chamber is economic development which they have been working very hard at the past several years. Whether it is bringing new business to Hutchinson or working with the current area business on growth and development. She oversees the Chamber Ambassador program which is the meet and greet committee of the Chamber. This group promotes the Chamber to area non-member businesses asking them to join the chamber and greets those attending Chamber breakfasts and Business-After-Hours events. The Chamber serves as the local information source for visitors to our city for information on area events, places to stay or eat and gives information to those interested in relocating to our city. A new smaller lunch-hour mingle event is just starting for those who cant make it or those who may not be comfortable attending an afterhours event. The Chamber also shares their office with the Convention and Visitors Bureau. Wyndi also passed out a brochure listing the many benefits the Chamber has to offer its members. The Chamber began as the Hutchinson Commercial Club in 1912.
