TUIT REPORT
Stan Macgirvin, Dennis Reiser and Doug Foss all failed to ask Terry Brigman about the Tuit.
Although, there was some argument that they were sitting in their vehicles at the time (Sorry!) Then, just like the
Hatfields and the McCoys, the feud resumed with the TUIT going back to Daddy (Brad Thompson!)
PROGRAM:
Our guests, Ed Berger and Darrell Pankratz presented the Gowans Stadium Phase II Renovation plan. Phase I provided an artificial turf field, a new 8-lane track and desperately needed drainage for the entire facility. The college has invited all the schools in the county to schedule activities in Gowans Stadium on open dates. Improved walkways were installed; and even the back of the new scoreboard was utilized as a billboard (with the assistance of Luminous Neon.)
Phase II will replace the antiquated restrooms, the sub-standard showers and the inadequate concession area. Seating will be expanded to accommodate 5,000 spectators. Permanent restrooms and a new concession area will be built on the visitors side. A new press box will be handicapped accessible. Entrance gates and ticket structures will be built at the north, west and south ends of the field. The costs of the project will be paid 30% by USD 308 and 70% by HCC.
