TUIT REPORT

Brad Thompson, the Tuit’s creator, gave us a large list of rules for the Tuit. I didn’t write them all down so see the creator.

Those fined were: Steve Conard, Jeff Brewer, and Bob Bush. Brad was going to give it back to Paul Brown but he

ducked out early. So Terry Brigman mentioned Brad should keep it another week. Terry now has the Tuit.

PROGRAM:

Joe Copeland led the program about Ambucs 2004-05 Strategic Plan. There are 3 new clubs building in our region. He talked about Friends Recruiting, someone who cannot be active but can help financially. The goal is 1,500 members, currently at 1,000. Ambucs resource center crews are currently working on the Building and Marketing Plan–The Fun Way to Serve. New spokespeople are Jerome Davis, a bull rider who was injured; and Scott Wimmer, from the Nascar #22 Race Team. The Scholar Program has awarded $170,000 in national awards. So far 350 Toddler Amtrykes have been shipped nationally. This year 957 larger Amtrykes have been given away nationally. (4,495 since the inception)

Club Announcements

Presentation: Alexia Johnson was presented with a larger Amtryke. She and her parents, Richard and Beverly, were very excited. It was also Alexia’s birthday -she turned 10! What a great way to celebrate.

Thank You: Thank you cards were from Heather Hice and Sarah Johnston, the Ambucs Scholarship Recipients.

Ice Cream: Doug Foss told us that we have 68 tubs of ice cream left for $15 a tub.

Golf Raffle Winners: Randy Henderson and Glenn Miller

Fundraising: The RV Rally Ice Cream grossed $24,000 and netted $11,800. The State Fair early tally gross is $46,736. The Little River Run t-shirts were at $491.

Help: Jack Mace announced he would like help assisting a handicapped man rework his home.

Salina Convention: Don Grossardt mentioned we could use a hand Saturday, 1:00-4:00 at the Salina Convention. Let Don know if you can help.

FINES

Jeff Brewer was filling in for Bob Bush. Late fines were collected from: Brenda Janda, Randall Haltom, Scott Horton, Glenn Miller, Tom Stanton, Denise Ward, Eric Steinle and Jason Jones. Ward Davis was fined for giving his poster duties to Jeff Brewer.
