GUESTS
Pat Brewer (Jeff’s wife), Erica and Colby Davis (Ward’s family),
Tim Newman (Lori Hopp’s guest for a second time),
and Judy Seltzer was introduced by Randy Henderson.
TUIT REPORT
Paul Brown was happy to relinquish the tuit after 2 weeks, and Steve Conard asking him every day about it. Guy Gann, Dan Powers and Greg West failed. Duke Wiggins, Fred Conner, and Doyle Ehling had a conversation with Paul about who had the tuit. Bob Bush failed to ask at the Chamber breakfast. Rod Fry (who gave Paul the tuit) forgot to ask.
Brad Thompson (the tuit’s creator) now has it back for a week.
PROGRAM:
Doug Foss started the meeting as acting President.
Randy Henderson introduced Judy Seltzer, who is with Homeland Security with the Reno County Health Department. Since 9-11 this department has alot more to be concerned about. On Oct. 19th they will conduct Flu-X. They will try to give flu shots to 10% of the population between 7am and 10 pm. They have a goal of 6500 shots given. The hope is this will help in training in case we ever need to do a mass inocculation. On Oct. 6 they will have an exercise for the first time in an urban setting for a foreign animal disease.
Colby Davis, Ward’s son, was very excited to receive an Amtryke! I know I speak for everyone in wishing him the best with his new Tryke.
