TUIT REPORT
Vicki Fultz was happy to get rid of the TUIT after 3 long weeks of companionship. You would have thought that in that
amount of time, she would have actually earned a lot more cash for the club but no such luck. Brad Thompson
paid for not asking about the TUIT, Jim Kicklighter paid for asking (now is that supposed to work that way?)
Keith Schroeder called and asked and didnt pay but Jeff Brewer, Jay Pitzer and Tom Hymer all neglected to ask
or once passed someone in the store who didnt ask or something and wound up coughing up a buck. Brenda Janda was
awarded the TUIT for this week so if you see Brenda make sure you ask about the TUIT
PROGRAM:
Jane Holtzinger of Horizons Mental Health Center gave a terrific program on Finding Words of Kansas. Finding Words is a program that defines one protocol for questioning / forensic interviews of children who are victims of sexual abuse. The aim of the program is to find out what happened, when it happened and to make sure the statements are reliable so that the results of the interview survive in court. Kansas is the 13th state in the nation to implement this program. Finding Words is jointly supported by the communities of Law Enforcement, Mental Health and SRS. Tom Stanton gave an impromptu testimonial about the importance of this program in prosecuting people who have hurt children and the impact this type of program has on nullifying the most common defense tactics used in these cases.

FINES
After a few weeks off, the sergeant was back in full form this week, making up for lost time. JoAnn Williams, Rick Mitchell and John Knipp were all fined for being late. Brenda Janda and Keith Schroeder then paid a dollar for a cup of coffee – apparently they didnt understand that it was free on the back table Kent Harris was supposed to be fined, but then the sergeant got distracted by the sight of Jeff Brewer and remembered a notebook Jeff Frizzell left on the roof of his car and was so busy collecting from Jeff that he forgot to collect from Kent. Doug Foss got fined for winning at golf (with a team of professionals), Jeff Frizell was fined for being closest to the pin and a library fine for not returning some sort of book to the sergeant. All the ladies were fined for NOT PLAYING in the social golf outing. Paul Brown, Randall Holtom and Dennis Rieser were all fined for being on the pokey puppy team finishing way after everyone else. Apparently after spending all the money on new clubs, Paul cant afford to lose any golf balls and spent some time looking in the tall stuff Jeff Brewer was fined for spending 20 years at Luminous Neon and paid another $ to keep everyone from singing for hes a jolly good fellow. Doug Foss marked his 10th anniversary with Jill Foss by paying a dollar per year now thats a bargain! Duke Wiggins paid a buck for wearing drunken bum attire to play golf at the Highlands. Doug paid yet another $ for making a joke at someones expense (whos got lost in the laughter). Vicki paid for her opening remarks of Stand up when you address me plus another $ for insulting the chef. Brad Thompson was fined for developing a European work ethic at Brigman Oil where apparently they keep hours that would make the bankers jealous. Jack Mace paid a $ to brag about the Kansas Mennonite Mens Choir tour of the West Coast apparently this fine group had a great time seing the western portion of our country and the western portion of the country had a great time seeing them. Finally, Lori Hopp paid a $ to ask for prayers for her family riding out the hurricane in Florida.
