GUESTS

Second Time Guest: Denise Wierd District Attorney’s Office

Allie – Sharla Meisenheimer’s daughter

First Time Guest: Meridith Mauk – RN of Harry Hines Hospice of Wichita

TUIT REPORT

Scott Saylor paid his $1 to pass off the tuit. Scott had dinner with Doug Foss but wasn’t asked about the tuit.

It is to be noted that Brenda Janda, Randal Haltom, Brad Thompson and Ward Davis did well to inquire about the tuit.

Stan Macgirvin asked Scott about the tuit at the Moose, never mind how Scott was doing.

Scott passed the tuit off to Glenn Miller seeing as Glenn is hanging out on a regular basis now.

VIRUS ALERT

(March 3, 2004) … … It seems almost redundant these days to write about the spread of computer viruses. But each of us have been “targeted” almost every month in one way or another by one or more types of viruses. Yesterday, Steve Conard sent a message informing me of a current attack that could involve spoofing the e-mail adress from someone in the Hutchinson AMBUCS club. It could cause potential problems. Click here to read “the rest of the story.”

PROGRAM:

Meredith Mauck is a RN of Harry Hines Hospice of Wichita. Hospice cares for persons with terminal illnesses

who have 6 months or less to live. They provide a way for the patient to stay at home. Their goal is to provide the

best quality of life for their patients.

Club Announcements

Special Projects T-Shirt Training for new members, those who have not used the shirt and hat presses, and those who need a refresher. Sessions will be held Wed. March 3 at 7 pm in back of Central Printing, 108 W Sherman, in the Alley.

Early Education T-Shirts: Bob Bush wanted to thank Scott Saylor, Jeff Brewer, Larry Sloan, Steve Conard, Bill Long and Don Grosshardt for pressing the t-shirts for the Early Education Center fundraiser.

NJCAA Basketball Tournament T-Shirts: Bob Bush announced that Lori Hopp would be carrying the signup schedule for the volunteers needed at the tournament to make t-shirts. As you know, this is a great opportunity to work in our community and to raise money for people with disabilities.

Try to work at least 1 shift. If possible, please work 2 shifts.

Spring Round-up: From March 1 through May 31, our club will be split into two teams. Eric Steinle and Vicki Fultz will be captains for the two teams, affectionately known as Steinle’s Stampede and Fultz’s Fury. Each team has a minimum goal of 5 new members. Our club goal is to add 10 new members during this promotion.

Each member will earn one point for each breakfast they attend during the promotion. An additional 3 points for each guest a member brings and 5 points per member for each guest that joins. Each member’s name is listed on the Contest Score Sheet. Every individual member will be responsible for checking the appropriate boxes for each week on the Contest Score Sheet.

The losing captain will get a pie thrown in his or her face by the winning captain. The winners, including their spouses, will be treated to a steak dinner at the Highlands Golf and Supper Club at the expense of the losing team. The top 5 members on each team with the most points will win Gift Certificates for AMBUCS clothing according to the number of points acquired.

Prayer Requests: Please keep Rod Fry’s mother and Brad Thompson’s father in your prayers.

Community Service Committee Meeting: March 5, 2004 at 6:15am.

Board Meeting: March 12, 2004 at 6:15am.

FINES COLLECTED

Stan Macgirvin and loyal side kick, Cheryl Goodell made a revenue generating spin around the room.

Jack Mace was thanked for not claiming to be an AMBUCS member.

Darren Wicks was just a wee bit late, as was Terry Stanton.

Lori Hopp was interrupted while buying a fine last week. Out-of-line fines to Scott Saylor and Jack Mace.

Brad Thompson spotted Scott Saylor’s sneakiness. A case of attempted entrapment with a tuit.

Glenn Miller purchased a fine to share that he had seen the movie, “The Passion of Christ”.

Glen shared that it gave him a new appreciation for what God has done for him.
