Nathan Meyer showed he was no rookie

when it comes to the TUIT.

Don G. did not ask and paid. Marion M. will pay. Bob B. paid because his secretary did not ask. Preston was seen at Lowes, but did not ask.

Bob Bush is now the proud possessor of the TUIT.

Substitute Sgt. Larry Sloan and his assistant Mark Clark were roaming the range in search of fast money.

Greg W., Eric S. and Dean B. were fined for arriving late. Monte M. (Welcome back!) was fined for being late and leaving his badge on the floor. Jay Curly Pitzer was fined for mistaking Al S. for Larry S. Greg W. was fined for being too helpful.

Tony P. bought a fine to honor

LaVerne Doc Powers for 50 years of optometry.

Program:

Club Business: President JoAnn Williams and

1st Vice-President Ward Davis covered recent club activities and upcoming events.

Bob Bush and Ward Davis attended Spring Training in Oklahoma. The Big Hat Auction on Friday Night raised $1500.00. Spring Training includes training for specific offices, but also general classes such as a therapist class about AMTRYKES.

Great Plains Regional Convention was the next topic for discussion. The convention from October 5-7, 2006 will open Friday morning with a golf tournament at the Highlands. Friday evening will feature a dinner at the underground museum. Saturday A.M. includes the Big Hat Breakfast and Auction and classes for AMBUCS. Saturday Noon is the Living Endowment Luncheon. Saturday evening is the banquet and presentation of district awards.

The National Convention is within driving distance in Kansas City. July 5-9, 2006 are the dates at the Fairmont at the Plaza. You may register online at the national website.
